Milan traded to Victoriaville
The Victoriaville Tigres have made another dip into the trading period by acquiring defenceman Daniel Milan from the Moncton Wildcats.
Milan, 19, spent the last two seasons with the Wildcats recording 14 goals and 43 points in 101 games.
In return, the Victoriaville Tigres sent defensemen Danick Emond and Jacob Sweeney to the Wildcats.
Emond, 18, had four goals and 15 points with the Tigres this season. The Montreal, Que. native was a second-round pick by the Chicoutimi Sagueneens in 2010.
Sweeney, 16, was a first-round pick by the Tigres in 2011 and played in three games this season with the Tigres but registered zero points.
In another trade on the day, the Quebec Remparts traded 20-year-old left winger Olivier Hinse to the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada for 19-year-old defenceman Marc-Antoine Carrier.
Hinse played in five games this year with the Remparts recording two assists.
