Reid on the Rocket: Rocket pick up two players off waivers
The P.E.I. Rocket have picked up forward Oliver Jodoin and defenseman Wes Herrett off waivers.
It was tweeted by the team's head coach Gordie Dwyer in the following tweet:
"@peirockethockey have added '93 F Olivier Jodoin and '92 Wes Herrett." See the tweet here.
Jodoin, 18, skated in 27 games with the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles this year and registered four goals and six points. He was a second-round pick by the Eagles in the 2009 QMJHL Entry Draft. He is also the younger brother of former Moncton Wildcats captain Simon Jodoin.
Herrett, 19, had a goal and six points this year in 40 games with the Gatineau Olympiques. He had six points last year with the Screaming Eagles who drafted him in the ninth-round in 2009.
